Alex was life-flighted only a few short hours after being born to have lifesaving surgery to address complications from intestinal malrotation. He stayed at a local children’s hospital in PA for nearly a month. Now, Alex is a healthy 3-year-old who loves food, dinosaurs and sports. He is a wild and loving boy. He loves to try new foods. His family was especially surprised that he loves beets. His family says, “what 3-year-old or any child likes beets? Alexander (Alex) hopes to play sports like his mom growing up. He’s currently playing in his second season of T-ball and wants to play soccer and basketball next! Alex’s family is very thankful to their children’s hospital for saving their little boy’s life. They are grateful that he has been able to grow to be a healthy (daredevil) 3-year-old boy.
